Akwasi Adu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bibiani Gold Stars, expressed confidence in the appointment of Frimpong Manso as the team's head coach, believing it will serve as a significant motivator for the players.

Adu emphasized the strategic nature of Manso's appointment, aiming to bring about positive changes in the team's current fortunes.

"You look at the leaders of the league and the team’s (that are) bottom of the table, the points build-up is not so wide that someone can confidently say he/she has won the league," Adu told Citi Sports.

"If we are to win our next games, our situation at the bottom of the table can be changed to mid-table.

"We still believe that with 21 matches remaining, we can get a good run… and with the new coach coming, it will be a huge motivation for the team.

"I think we are still on course and it is possible we can finish the season on a high," he added.

Despite the club's challenges and their position on the league table, Adu remains optimistic about the possibility of turning the season around with Manso at the helm.

The CEO highlighted the competitive nature of the league, suggesting that a series of wins in the upcoming matches could propel Gold Stars from their current position at the bottom of the table to a more favorable mid-table standing.

Bibiani Gold Stars currently occupy the 16th position in the Ghana Premier League standings with 12 points.
