Akwasi Adu, the Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, has pledged that the club will fight until the end in their quest to secure their first Ghana Premier League title.

Currently, Goldstars remain unbeaten after eight matches, boasting five wins and three draws for a total of 18 points, placing them at the top of the league standings.

The Miners recently achieved a narrow victory over Hearts of Oak at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, breaking Hearts' five-match unbeaten streak.

Samuel Attah Kumi emerged as the hero, scoring the decisive goal in the 69th minute after Hamza Issah missed a critical penalty for Hearts.

Following the match, Adu expressed his pride in the team's performance, emphasizing their commitment to the title race.

“You adhered to instructions from the coach throughout the game, and I’m happy about that. I’m grateful to you. Aside from the huge bonuses, I’m sure you are personally happy about yourselves,” he remarked.

He encouraged players to take pride in wearing the Goldstars jersey, asserting, “We are currently the best club in Ghana.

I won’t say we have won the league, but we will fight until we play our final game of the season.”

Bibiani Goldstars will next host the struggling Dreams FC in Matchday 9 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
