Bibiani Goldstars Chief Executive Officer, Kwasi Adu, has declared his club as the best team in Ghana following their impressive 1-0 away victory against Hearts of Oak over the weekend.
In a motivational message to his players, Adu praised their efforts and encouraged them to take pride in representing the "Miners."
The match was an exhilarating, end-to-end encounter, with Goldstars securing the win through Atta Kumi’s decisive second-half goal.
Hearts of Oak had a late chance to equalize, but Hamza Issah missed a crucial penalty in the last 15 minutes, allowing the visitors to walk away with all three points.
This win keeps Bibiani Goldstars unbeaten after eight matches this season, with a record of five wins and three draws, positioning them at the top of the league with 18 points.
CEO Adu reinforced this achievement by stating, “We are currently the best club in Ghana, and you should be proud as a Gold Stars player.”
Bibiani Goldstars will aim to extend their unbeaten run when they host Dreams FC at Dun's Park on November 1, 2024.
