On November 5, 2024, the Management Committee of the Black Galaxies paid a visit to the team at their training camp in Prampram to offer support and motivation ahead of their upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Led by Committee Chairman Kingsley Osei Bonsu and Vice-Chairman Alhaji Sadugu Yahaya, the visit took place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, the technical center of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The Black Galaxies, under the leadership of Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, are preparing for a crucial two-legged CHAN qualifier against Nigeria in December.
The first leg is scheduled to take place in Ghana between December 20-22, with the return leg in Nigeria from December 27-29.
This match-up brings renewed intensity to the Ghana-Nigeria football rivalry, with a place in CHAN 2024, set to be hosted across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, at stake.
In their last CHAN encounter, Ghana ousted Nigeria after a dramatic penalty shootout, following a 2-2 aggregate score, securing their qualification for the previous tournament in Algeria.
With this legacy and regional pride on the line, the two teams are gearing up for what promises to be an exciting battle.
