The Black Meteors of Ghana wrapped up preparations for the African U-23 Afcon tournament in Egypt with a friendly game against division two side Shooting Stars.

Ghana's U-23 side defeated the lower tier side by two goals to nil with all the goals coming from Real Oviedo striker Samuel Obeng Gyabaa.

The match afforded coach Ibrahim Tanko the chance to fine tune his tactics while making final experiments and changes to a side he has been training with in Accra the last few weeks.

Ghana will open the tournament with a match against Cameroon on the opening day before facing host nation Egypt three days later before playing Mali 14th November.

The Black Meteor will hope to be a part of the first three nations that will qualify for the Olympic games in Tokyo 2020.

Ghana will on Monday depart for Egypt where the tournament starts on Friday 8th November- 22nd November 2019.
