Black Princesses attacker Mafia Nyame has stated that the team feels no pressure as they prepare for the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, set to take place in Colombia from August 31 to September 22, 2024.

The Black Princesses have been drawn into Group E, where they will face Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. Despite the challenging group, Nyame remains confident and emphasizes the team's positive mindset.

“We are not under pressure. The technical team has been encouraging us in every aspect. We are in camp as a family, so there is no pressure ahead of the tournament,” Nyame said.

This World Cup marks the Black Princesses' seventh consecutive appearance, as they aim to make a significant impact on the global stage.

Ghana has struggled to advance beyond the group stage in their six previous attempts between 2012 and 2022.

However, the team is determined to break this long-standing jinx and progress further in the tournament.

The Black Princesses' preparation and unity could prove pivotal as they seek to represent Africa with pride and achieve their best performance yet.
