Black Queens defender Comfort Yeboah has completed a move to Spanish La Liga Femeni side Dux Logroño, just days after her national teammate Nancy Amoh joined the same club.
The pair, who starred for Ampem Darkoa Ladies, now reunite in Spain following their standout performances at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt, where Ghana clinched bronze.
Yeboah’s transfer marks another milestone in the growing export of Ghanaian women’s football talent to Europe, with both players expected to bolster Logroño’s defensive and attacking options.
Both players featured prominently in Ghana’s run to third place at the 2024 Women’s AFCON. Their performances drew attention from scouts across Europe, with Logroño moving swiftly to secure their signatures.
Comfort has already begun training with her new club as they gear up for the task in the 2025/26 Spanish Liga F Moeve campaign.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies continue to serve as a key pipeline for Ghana’s women’s football development, having produced multiple national team players now plying their trade abroad.
Yeboah and Amoh’s move is expected to inspire more local talents and strengthen the Black Queens’ international experience ahead of upcoming qualifiers and tournaments.
