Ghana midfielder Evelyn Badu has taken the next step in her career after completing a move to Canadian side Montreal Roses, bringing an end to her spell in European football.
The Black Queens international arrives in North America with a wealth of experience, having spent recent seasons plying her trade across France and Norway. Badu featured for French outfit FC Fleury before moving on to the Norwegian league, where she represented Avaldsnes and later Molde.
Her move to Montreal Roses marks a fresh chapter for the 22-year-old, who has grown into one of Ghana’s most promising midfielders, admired for her energy, composure and tactical awareness in the middle of the park.
At international level, Badu has been a key figure for the Black Queens, earning praise for her maturity and consistency despite her young age. Her time in Europe helped shape her game, exposing her to different styles of play and demanding competitive environments.
The switch to Canada offers a new challenge and an opportunity to continue her development in a growing women’s football landscape, with Montreal Roses keen to benefit from her experience and versatility.
For Badu, the move is both a fresh start and another step forward in an already impressive journey, one that now takes her from Europe to North America, carrying Ghanaian hopes with her.
