Ghanaian striker Vivian Konadu Adjei has taken a significant step in her career by signing with Turkish club Beşiktaş JK.
This move marks another milestone for Adjei, who has been making waves in European football since her time with Ferencvárosi Torna Club in Hungary.
Adjei's journey in professional football has been nothing short of impressive.
Before her stint in Hungary, she earned widespread recognition while playing for Indian club Gokulam Kerala FC, where she scored a staggering 44 goals in just 20 matches.
This remarkable achievement showcased her exceptional talent and undoubtedly paved the way for her move to Beşiktaş JK, where she is expected to continue her goal-scoring exploits.
Adjei began her football career with Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies in the Ghana Women’s Premier League, later joining Thunder Queens.
During the 2020–21 season, her performance caught the attention of international scouts as she netted seven goals, which led to offers from clubs abroad.
Her impressive form earned her a call-up to the Ghana Black Queens in 2021.
She made an immediate impact on the international stage, scoring a crucial goal in the 89th minute of her debut, helping Ghana secure a 2–0 victory against Cameroon in the Aisha Buhari Cup.
Adjei also featured in the qualifiers for the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, further establishing herself as a key player for the national team.
Now at Beşiktaş JK, Adjei is poised to continue her rise in European football, bringing her goal-scoring prowess to one of Turkey’s top clubs.
