The Black Stars of Ghana on Wednesday evening defeated lower tier side Soccer Intellectuals by a mammoth 8-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Two goals each from youngsters Kamaldeen Sulemana and Fatawu Isshaku while the other goal scorers included Benjamin Tetteh, Mohammed Kudus, Yaw Yeboah and Joel Fameye.

The Black Stars romped to a 4-0 victory after the first 45 minutes before adding another four goals in the second half to make it 8-0.

Despite the free scoring nature of the team, goal shy striker Jordan Ayew failed to score and even missed a penalty kick.

Ghana is preparing to face Zimbabwe in match day three of the 2022 World Cup qualifier in a two legged affair with the first leg starting on Saturday 9th October,2021 before facing each other three days time.
