Andre Ayew says Ghana are not among the favorites for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Despite being one of the most successful countries in the history of the competition, the Black Stars captain admitted Senegal and Egypt are more favored by the bookmakers to win the tournament.
The four-time champions are seeking to end their 37-year wait for continental success, having won their last title in 1982.
Kwesi Appiah’s side have come close to ending their drought at the last six tournaments, having reached the semi-finals, and even going as far as the final in 2010 and 2015.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group F alongside defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
