Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has named a squad of twenty-three players for this month's international friendly matches against Mexico and the United States of America.
Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has earned a call-up following his impressive start to the season in England. Lamptey faced challenges and injuries last year, sidelining him for nearly six months.
Additionally, Deputy captain Thomas Teye Partey, who missed the qualifier against the Central African Republic due to injury, is included in the squad.
Ghana will face Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday, October 14, and then take on the United States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
These two friendlies are expected to serve as part of the team's preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers in November and the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire.
