Black Stars team Doctor Prince Pambo has travelled to Toulouse, France, to check on injured Ghanaian midfielder Francis Abu as he continues his recovery.
The visit forms part of the national team’s wider preparations for upcoming international friendlies and the 2026 World Cup campaign.
Abu, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation in France, received encouragement and medical assessment from Dr Pambo, who is keen to ensure the player’s progress remains on track.

The gesture highlights the Ghana Football Association’s commitment to maintaining close contact with players abroad, particularly those recovering from injury ahead of crucial fixtures.
While there is no confirmed date for Abu’s return to competitive action, the Black Stars medical team is hopeful he will make a smooth recovery in time to rejoin the squad.
With World Cup coming up and international friendlies looming, Ghana’s technical team is working behind the scenes to ensure key players regain full fitness.
For Abu, the message from home is clear, strength, patience and a strong comeback await.
