The Black Stars are set to travel to Angola on Wednesday for the first leg of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana will face the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday, November 15, in a critical penultimate match of the qualifiers before concluding their campaign against Niger in Accra on November 18.
Currently sitting third in Group F with just two points from four games, Ghana is in a tough spot, trailing behind Angola (12 points) and Sudan (7 points).
Only the second-place finisher in the group will secure a spot in the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco, making these upcoming fixtures crucial for the Black Stars' chances.
Following last Thursday’s squad announcement for the double-header against Angola and Niger, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) released the team’s itinerary.
According to the schedule, the Black Stars will depart Accra on Wednesday after completing two training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The first session, held on Monday, was open to the media, while a closed-door session is planned for later today.
The team will hold its final training session in Luanda on Thursday before facing Angola in Friday’s encounter.
With just two points from their first four matches, Ghana’s qualification hopes are hanging by a thread, making these fixtures pivotal for their AFCON aspirations.
