Controversial football administrator Mr Takyi Arhin has claimed that some members of the Black Stars management committee are behind a plot to ransack the coffers of the state.

Speaking to Ashh FM sports the Chief Executive Officer of Berlin FC claimed that the $10,000 fee requested by the Black Stars players was backed by some members of the management committee in order to satisfy their personal gains.

"When the players request for a high fees, these same management members get their cut so they push them to make such requests. This $10,000 that the players are requesting they will get their share" he said

He further claimed that the recent demonstration carried out by the playing body of the Black Queens was fuelled by some members of the management committee.

An infuriated Mr Arhin further asserted that such acts go a long way to ruin the reputation of football people in Ghana.

"They pushed the Black Queens players to go on a demonstration thinking they are disgracing Nii Lantey but this is indictment on the management team of the Black Stars" he said

According to him, the $10,000 figure should be slashed to $5000 in order to save the economy of Ghana.

Outgoing sports minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuje had previously slashed the figure to $8,000 but the figure has since been reportedly restored to $10,000.

Speaking with obvious passion, the football administrator bemoaned the absence of Lorient FC striker Majeed Warris from the final 23-man shortlist for the AFCON 2017 tournament in Gabon.

According Mr Arhin, dropping Majeed Warris for is like opting for a black and white old fashioned television set ahead of a digital coloured television.

Speaking to Ashh FM sports, the football administrator said he could not fathom why the Israeli tactician chose not to select in-form Majeed Warris and Latif Blessing who is currently the best player in the Ghana premier league.

"How can you make a 23-man squad for a tournament and ignore the best player in your league? You have selected Tekpetey or whatever he calls himself who has played only four matches and scored just a goal and you say you have dropped Majeed Warris who has scored 17 goals. That is like choosing a black and white television set over a digital coloured television. Such a person needs a psychologist" the former Chairman of Sunyani based BA United retorted.
