President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kurt E S Okraku has led a delegation of officials from the football governing body and the Black Stars technical team to pay a courtesy call on Oguaaman Hene Osabarima Kwesi Atta II.

The aim of the visit is to fraternize with the traditional rulers of Cape Coast as well as seek their support as his administration embark on salvaging the image of Ghana football.

The GFA boss also called on the Oguaman hene and his people to throw their support behind Ghana's senior National team, the Black Stars when they come up against South Africa in their first AFCON 2021 Qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday.

Ghana will begin their quest for a ninth (9th) straight appearance at Africa's flagship football competition with a home game against the Bafana Bafana at the Cape Coast Stadium this Thursday before traveling to Sao Tome and Principe four days later for the second game of the qualifying campaign.

The Black Stars began preparation for the game On Monday in Accra before traveling to Cape Coast on Tuesday.

The team, as part of the 'Bring back the love' also made stops in Winneba and Mankesim before touching base in the Central regional capital.
