The head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo with the aid of  his technical team has rolled out Ghana's starting eleven against Chad in the Matchday 7  of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars in this game are starting with familiar faces with the exception deputy captain Thomas Partey whom head coach Otto Addo has started midfielders like Salis Abdul Samed and Elisha Owusu ahead of.

Thomas Partey in the last two qualifiers produced a stupendous Man of The Match performances in both games against Chad where Ghana won 5-0 and the subsequent one when Ghana won 3-0 against Madagascar. This has raised eyebrows as Ghanaian fans feel he is a key figure in the team and his presence  could be a great threat to the Chad  team.

Also, youngster, Caleb Yirenkyi has also been handed his first competitive start for the Black Stars after starring in the Unity Cup games back in May. He has also produced three goal involvements in seven games this season for his side FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish SuperLig, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
