Media icon, Blakofe, has been appointed the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC).

With over 20 years media experience, Blakofe has succeeded as a Copywriter, Producer, Presenter, Event Organizer, Creative Thinker and Content Developer.

She has worked as a Presenter for Aljazeera, a Field Reporter for MNet and has been featured on Oprah and Channel 4 (UK).

Blakofe has had the opportunity to host a number of events, from small corporate functions to large music shows which includes the United Nations Conference on Refugees, John Legend in Ghana, Jo’burg Joy of Jazz Festival in South Africa and the United Nations Peace and Reconciliation Concert in Liberia.

The GTDC was established in 1972 as a Limited Liability Company to operate as the investment and commercial wing of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.

The company exists to provide a congenial and a viable investment environment accessible to both local and foreign development funds.
