Brandon Thomas-Asante, Coventry City forward, has described playing for the Black Stars as a dream fulfilled, highlighting the emotional significance of representing Ghana at the international level.

The England-born striker, who made his debut for Ghana in July 2024, has since earned seven caps, scoring once.

“Representing Ghana is a dream that I’ve held for a long time. It’s more than just football; it’s about family and roots. When that first call-up came, it was an incredible feeling for me and my parents. There’s a weight to that jersey because of the legends who have worn it before — players like Asamoah Gyan and Michael Essien — so to be part of that history now is a massive honour,” Thomas-Asante told PFA.
