Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu has expressed his excitement about joining PEC Zwolle, describing his initial impression of the club as “excellent.”

Manu’s signing was officially announced on Tuesday, with the forward committing to a two-year deal, with an option for an additional year.

In a statement on PEC Zwolle’s official website, Manu praised the club’s warm reception and expressed his satisfaction with his initial experience.

“After multiple contacts with technical director Gerry Hamstra, I have been in Zwolle since last Tuesday. My first impression of the club is excellent, and I felt at home right away due to the warm reception,” Manu said.

Manu brings valuable experience to PEC Zwolle, having played in both the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga.

His previous tenure at SV Darmstadt 98 was particularly noteworthy, where he made 57 appearances and contributed 22 goals, including 11 goals and 11 assists.

Born on March 28, 1997, in Itzehoe, Germany, Manu holds dual citizenship in Germany and Ghana.

He will be looking to make a significant impact in the Dutch Eredivisie as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
