A 31-year-old businessman from Porto Alegre has shocked Brazil by naming football icon Neymar Jr. as the sole heir to his staggering fortune, estimated at R$6.1 billion (about $1 billion USD).

The will, officially registered on June 12, 2025, reveals that the man—whose identity remains undisclosed—has no family or professional ties to the Brazilian superstar.

Explaining his decision, the businessman said his choice stemmed from deep admiration and an emotional connection to Neymar.
