Gospel musician Brother Sammy is currently in grips of the Ashanti Regional Police assisting with investigations over claims of a product that cures HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases; Ghanaguardian.com has learnt.

The arrest was fueled by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

The FDA in a Press Release indicated the Kumasi based gospel artiste has refused to register the said products with the food and drugs regulator, hence the arrest.

It, however, cautioned the general public not to patronize such products from Brother Sammy and any other person since such products have not been approved and by the FDA and other claims cannot be substantiated.
