The Managing editor of the Al-Hajj newspaper Alhaji Bature Iddrisu is dead, ghanaguardian.com has gathered.

The outspoken journalist  and avid supporter of the opposition National Democratic Congress died at the Korle Bu hospital on Friday afternoon

He had taken ill and had been at the intensive care unit at Korle bu  hospital,his daughter confirmed to ghanaguardian.com

Medical officers at the hospital are yet to confirm what could have  caused the death of the staunch supporter of the opposition National Democratic Congress.

According to family, "burial arrangement will be communicated soon in accordance with Islamic tradition".
