Bulgarian top-flight club CSKA 1948 has signed Ghanaian midfielder Sharif Osman on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old joins from Etar Veliko Tarnovo, with whom he officially parted ways on June 12, 2025, following the expiration of his one-year contract.
Osman made 19 appearances and scored one goal during the 2024/25 campaign, playing a pivotal role in Etar’s midfield.
Born in Ayigya, Kumasi, Osman started his football journey with FC Inter Millars, a Division Two side based in Oyarifa, Accra. He made the move to Bulgaria in July 2024 and also had a brief stint with Dobrudzha Dobrich before joining Etar.
Despite not yet receiving a national team call-up, Osman has been steadily rising in reputation with his consistent performances and strong defensive midfield presence.
His move to CSKA 1948 marks a significant step up, providing him the opportunity to prove himself in Bulgaria’s First League.
CSKA 1948 are expected to benefit from Osman’s physicality, ball-winning skills, and composure in the middle of the park as they bolster their squad for the ongoing campaign.
