There is mounting pressure from Ghanaian on Black Stars coach C.K Akonnor after Ghana's 1-0 defeat to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the second game of the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifier.

Ghana had a single shot on target the entire game with the closest Ghana went near the goalkeeper William's goal was when Joel Fameyeh was tripped when he was through on goal.

The resulting free kick was fiercely struck by Wakaso Mubarak but the goalkeeper held firm without any trouble.

Under the guidance of C.K Akonnor as coach, Ghana has scored just 1 goal in its last 4 matches and 5 shots on target in last 4 games which is piss poor for a country of Ghana's footballing abilities and history.

Former Ghanaian midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says that head coach, C.K Akonnor must take the blame for Ghana's poor performance but he believes his assistant coaches must offer him more than they are doing currently.

"We can blame CK Akonnor but his assistants are also to be blamed and they should be helping him. There's a certain chemistry between Hearts coach and his assistant."

He claims that C.K Akonnor and his assistant coaches lack some kind of chemistry which exist between Hearts coach Samuel Boadu and his assistant coach Hamza Obeng.
