C/R: "We'll not sit idle for this to go unanswered"-GIS vows over attacked personnel

The head of the Ghana Immigration Service, Superintendent Michael Amoako Atta has stated that, following the attack of some Personnel of the Service by Nigerian immigrants an investigation has been set to probe the incident.
His comments come on the back of when some Personnel of the Service were attacked at Kasoa.
Mr Atta while speaking emphasized that the GIS will not allow the incident to die off.
He said "GIS will not sit idle for this to go unanswered.”
The attack was launched on the Personnel of the Service at Budumburam at Kasoa, the outskirt of Accra towards the Central Region.
The vehicle of the immigration officers was locked with cement blocks and wooden crates.
In a video, at least five of the Personnel were seen in an official vehicle in a neighbourhood of foreign nationals mainly Nigerians.
The foreigners who appeared to be agitated by the presence of the Personnel hurled insults on them as well as accusing them of being thieves.
