The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) announces that the media accreditation process for 28th edition of the annual CAF Awards opens from Friday, 6 December 2019 till Friday 20 December.

The Awards Gala will take place on Tuesday, 7 January 2020, at Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada in Egypt.

The event will celebrate African footballers and officials who have distinguished themselves during 2019. There will also be several new award categories in recognition of the exceptional contributions to African football and inspiring individuals.

Media interested in attending the CAF Awards 2019 can apply for accreditation through the CAF Media Channel.

In view of the expected huge demands due to global nature of the event against the limited space at the venue, all applications will be subjected to thorough reviews to ensure that ONLY active media professionals (local or international), organizations and freelancers are granted accreditation to attend the event.

In addition, kindly note that approved media representatives will ONLY have access to the Press Conference and the Mixed Zone areas during the event.

Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course. Furthermore, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for securing their own visas.
