Not only acting, when it comes to fitness, she believes in taking things a notch up, even for her movie roles. When Priyanka Chopra was preparing for the role of Mary Kom in the 2014 film, she worked hard and trained for over 45 days like a true boxer to achieve the look and strength of a boxer.

But there’s something we are envious of- and that’s her unique way of staying in shape. Of course, when you are as big a star as Priyanka, you get to do things your own way. Before you think, it is not any new workout she is obsessing over. Consider it an occupational hazard if you may, but Priyanka believes in taking care of her body and she does it by performing her own stunts. Stunned? Read on!
In an interview with a media outlet, Priyanka Chopra, who will be seen next in a multi-starrer movie said that she likes to perform her own stunts and doesn’t believe in taking help from a stunt-double. That is her big secret to staying fit. She said that doing so helped her keep healthy and in shape especially when she was busy shooting for her show, Quantico, which was an action drama. Priyanka said, "I have to stay super active and agile because I do my own stunts."
She also said that she believes in her instincts and has the power to perform fight sequences herself!
"I do all my fights myself. I trust my body and my instincts."
She also went a step further and demonstrated some of the action moves on a television show. She did all that wearing big heels! If that is not inspiring enough, we don’t know what will be.
Also, Priyanka doesn’t really believe in starving herself to stay slim. She has been quoted saying,
“I don't believe in being a size 0. I don't believe in starving. Women should totally embrace their curves.”
Thus, Priyanka’s approach towards workout isn’t very complicated. With her schedule running busy as it is, she does not devote a lot of time to gymming and neither does she miss on the great food. She loves gorging on pizzas, ice-creams and chicken wings, as long as it is moderation.
Priyanka is a fan of yoga!
A true blue desi girl at heart, Priyanka is an avid yoga practitioner and finds time to do it as she feels this regime helps her stay stress-free and relaxed during busy days. We completely support her. She also practices cardio and weight training exercises which give her the ripped, chiselled abs which are absolutely drool-worthy!

“Life is just really fast-paced and you don’t have to kill yourself in the gym,” Priyanka told a fitness magazine last year. We second her! Her trainer once revealed a sample routine of what Priyanka’s gym routine involved. One hour of gym training every day includes some of these:

-Gym - running on the treadmill for 15 minutes

-Push-ups and reverse lunges

-Bench jumps and reverse crunches

-Planks hold and biceps curls

-Weight training

-If not gym, running and spinning
