Belgian club Cercle Brugge has successfully finalized the loan signing of promising Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyekum from Red Bull Salzburg, with an option to buy.

Agyekum, a graduate of WAFA's renowned academy, has committed to Cercle Brugge, marking a significant acquisition for the club amidst competition from other interested parties.

The 21-year-old midfielder has demonstrated his potential during his tenure at Red Bull, and Cercle Brugge aims to capitalize on his abilities as they strive for success in the Belgian top division.

Previously on loan at Liefering for the 2023-24 season, Agyekum contributed one goal and one assist in 14 appearances.

He also made notable contributions to Red Bull's Austrian Bundesliga triumph in the 2022-23 season, appearing three times.

With all formalities completed, including contract signings and visa arrangements, Agyekum is poised to integrate into the Cercle Brugge squad and embark on his journey with the team.
