Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt Col Divine Agbeko emphasized a vital aspect of leadership that goes beyond politics, focusing on values, trust, and the well-being of the community.
The Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (EPCG), delivered these remarks during the induction of Pr. Dr. Mrs. Salomey Praise Otami-Abutiate as the Presbyter Executive of the EPCG at the Elorm Parish in Ho.
In a passionate address, Dr. Agbeko cautioned former President John Dramani Mahama against prioritizing family, friends, and associates when making national decisions.
He advised that leadership should not involve distributing favors to close ties but should instead be driven by the broader interest of Ghana.
Dr. Agbeko reminded the former President that decisions based on loyalty to personal connections, rather than the welfare of the nation, would not benefit Ghana and could lead to significant challenges.
