Black Stars B coach Ibrahim Tanko has congratulated midfielder Thomas Partey for joining Arsenal, describing the English side as the "best club in the premier League".

The Borussia Dortmund and Freiburg legend believes the deputy  Black Star skipper must be proud of his shift into the English Premier League.

The 27-year-old joined the Gunners on a long-term contract on transfer deadline day after the gunners triggered the €50 million buyout clause from Atlético Madrid.

Partey’s transfer to the English Premier League side has dominated the headlines with everyone sending wishing him well on his new adventure.

The former Black Stars assistant coach who happens to be a staunch supporter of the Gunners took to his official twitter account to  welcomed Partey and also wish him the best of luck.

The former Atletico Madrid has been handed the no 18 shirt at his new club and could make his debut against Leeds United after the international break.

Partey is expected to join the Black Stars camp on Friday in Turkey  for an international duty.
