Ghana's version of Neil Warnock Kobina Amissah has sent shock waves through the spine of many as he has decided to quit his job at Bibiani GoldStars after helping them secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League.

Kobina Amissah who is an expert in qualifying teams from the lower tier side to the Premier League helped the Bibiani based side achieve the holy grail barely a month ago and has by mutual consent decided to end his stay with the club.

The coach says he will take a sabbatical leave after three years in active football and will come back very soon after a well deserved vactaion.

“It is not like am leaving because there is pressure but I have been active for the past three seasons and I need to take enough rest and refresh my mind.

Though am leaving, if they need my support, I will wholeheartedly do that but not as part of the management team. I will definitely bounce back very soon," he is reported to have said by Kyfilla.com.

Gold Stars have on countless occasions mounted a charge to secure qualification to the elite division but to no avail till they appointed the veteran who is am expert in securing qualification to the Premier League from the second tier.

He won the Zone II at a canter as his side Gold Stars lost just two games to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League.

Kobina Amissah has secured qualification with Elmina Sharks, Berekum Chelsea, Sekondi Hasaacas among others.
