Bibiani GoldStars SC are struggling to amass victories in the ongoing 2023–24 Betpawa Premier League, despite setting up a huge target for the season. The Miners, based in Bibiani, are eyeing a top-four finish and an FA Cup title chase this campaign.

However, the team lacks efficiency at goal and currently has 10 goals after nine weeks of games.

Bibiani GoldStars SC, in their last four Premier League matches, have failed to record a win, managing only draws. They entertained Accra Lions FC at home on Sunday in a matchweek 9 fixture and resorted to sharing points, following a 1-1 scoreline at Dun's Park.

The draw marked their four consecutive draws in the league, having drawn 2-2 to Hearts of Lions FC at home, 1-1 to Accra Hearts of Oak SC at home, and a 1-1 draw away to Karela United FC.

The wins are not coming, leaving the club and fans agitated over their recent run of form. Nevertheless, head coach Michael Osei insists the team will do well this season but discloses the headache of the side.

"The win isn't coming, and it's a big worry. We haven't had hard luck coming on our side, and the injuries to my strikers are disturbing us, especially Ibrahim Laar and Ali Huzaif."

"We are also missing so many goal chances."

"But we are still going to work extra hard to bounce back because we still believe that we will do well in the season", Osei told Kolog Bonaventure in an interview.

Bibiani GoldStars SC finished 5th on the log last season but currently sits 9th with 11 points after week 9.

Meanwhile, GoldStars SC will next face league leaders Aduana Stars FC in Dormaa.
