An Accra High Court has fined incarcerated evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa or Evangelist Mama Pat, GH¢12,000 and ordered her to pay GH¢50,000 in compensation to fellow pastor Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Enim, also known as Osofo Biblical.
The ruling was delivered on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, following a plea bargain application filed by Nana Agradaa and her co-accused, which set out the full terms of a negotiated settlement with the Attorney-General.
The case stemmed from events in 2021, when Agradaa and others were found to have breached Ghana’s Cybersecurity Act by broadcasting explicit images of Prophet Appiah Enim on her television station, then known as Thunder TV and now Today’s TV.
The broadcast followed a public feud between the two pastors over a disputed GH¢10,000 debt Agradaa claimed Appiah Enim owed her.
As part of the accepted plea bargain, the court imposed fines amounting to 1,000 penalty units, with an additional 25 penalty units, resulting in the GH¢12,000 fine. The court also ordered Agradaa to pay GH¢50,000 as compensation to Prophet Appiah Enim.
Nana Agradaa, who is currently serving a separate 15-year prison sentence with hard labour at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison for fraud and charlatanic advertisement after her conviction in July 2025, was transported to court for the hearing.
Following the proceedings, her lawyer urged the public to draw lessons from the case and refrain from engaging in conduct that violates the law, particularly in the use of media platforms.
The court’s decision brings to a close the criminal aspect of the long-running dispute between the two religious figures.
