Crawley Town has completed the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian on a permanent transfer.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has committed to a two-year contract with Crawley Town, marking a new chapter in his career.

Injuries limited Wollacott to nine appearances for Hibernian last season in the Scottish Premiership, where he started five matches and kept one clean sheet.

Despite these challenges, Wollacott brings extensive experience from his early days at Bristol City, where he spent eight years and undertook several successful loan spells.

His professional debut with Forest Green Rovers featured a memorable penalty save in a crucial 0-0 draw against Charlton Athletic.

Subsequent loan stints at clubs like Swindon Town and Charlton Athletic under former Swindon manager Ben Garner further enriched his career before his move to Hibernian.

Wollacott’s journey includes a reunion with current Crawley Town manager Scott Lindsey, under whom he played at Swindon Town.

Speaking highly of Lindsey, Wollacott reflects positively on their time together, highlighting their successful collaboration at Swindon.

The goalkeeper's arrival strengthens Crawley Town’s squad ahead of the upcoming season in English League One, offering valuable experience and leadership between the posts.
