Ghana's Joseph Aidoo will not be available for the international friendly against the United States of America due to an ankle injury.
The Celta Vigo player suffered an ankle injury and was forced to leave the pitch in the 27th minute of the international friendly against Mexico.
He was subsequently replaced by Alidu Seidu.
After undergoing further medical examinations conducted by the team doctors, it has been confirmed that Aidoo sustained an ankle tendon injury that will require immediate treatment for recovery.
As a result, the player is set to return to his club in Spain for further medical care.
Joseph Aidoo, formerly with Inter Allies, has earned 12 international caps for Ghana, with his debut for the national team dating back to March 2019.
