Crystal Palace skipper Luka Milivojevic has backed Jordan Ayew to score more goals after netting his maiden strike for The Eagle in Wednesday's Premier League clash with Wolves.

After a frustrating first half of the season, the 27-year-old broke his Palace goal duck with the opener as they secured a 2-0 away triumph in the Premier League fixture at Molineux Stadium.

The Ghanaian joined Roy Hodgson's outfit on a season-long loan from Championship side Swansea City in the summer.

"I think he deserves that because he has worked hard in recent weeks and he definitely deserves thsi goal."

"It is very important for us as a team but i know how important it is for him because it will give him more confidence going forward."

"I hope he will build on this and keep his form at the club."
