The Cyber Security Authority (CSA), in partnership with National Security operatives, has arrested 32 Nigerian nationals in a coordinated dawn operation at Kasoa–Tuba as part of intensified efforts to clamp down on cybercrime nationwide.

The Tuesday morning operation led to the seizure of 31 laptops and 15 mobile phones, which officials believe may have been used in various cyber-related offences. The suspects are currently in custody, assisting with investigations, while the confiscated electronic devices have been submitted for detailed forensic examination.

According to the CSA, the raid forms part of ongoing nationwide enforcement actions targeting cyber-fraud networks, online scams, and other forms of digital criminality that continue to threaten Ghana’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the country’s digital infrastructure through strategic partnerships with security agencies and sustained public awareness.

The CSA further urged the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious online activities through official reporting channels to support the national fight against cybercrime.
