English-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei played a pivotal role in Leyton Orient's nail-biting FA Cup win against Boreham Wood. Agyei scored in the 48th minute, doubling the lead after Sonny Perkins' early goal.

With Agyei spearheading the attack, Orient controlled much of the game. However, Boreham Wood rallied late with goals from Tyrone Marsh and Charlie O’Connell, pushing the match into extra time.

Reduced to 10 men following Jayden Sweeney’s red card, Leyton Orient held firm and brought the game to penalties.

Diallang Jaiyesimi, Darren Pratley, and former Manchester United player Ethan Galbraith converted their spot-kicks, while goalkeeper Josh Keeley’s crucial saves clinched a 4-2 shootout victory.

Leyton Orient’s win propels them into the FA Cup’s second round as they now prepare for their League One encounter with Blackpool on November 9th.
