The group that was recently evicted from the Osu Castle in Accra, De-Eye Group, has released a statement about the incident.

According to a report by Mynewsgh, the secretary of the group, Tracey Asamoah, stated that the group is grateful for the free publicity given them.

She added that thanks to the investigation and the documentary released by the Multimedia Group, the company is likely to get more clients.

Asamoah added, “This is too cheap for an undercover job. The Manasseh I knew from Krachi Secondary school, this is so cheap.” she said on Okay FM.

She went on to say the group is an employment agency that facilitates the recruitment of their members into openings in government through lobbying.

She further noted that President Akufo-Addo knows nothing about their activities, even though the head of the group is his former bodyguard.

Asamoah revealed that they are not a secret group; neither are they hiding from anyone as they often jog in Osu and around the beach in their numbers.
