It's all fun and games to make jokes about bad bosses until you have to deal with one every single day. Looking at the statistics, there are probably more overworked and under-trained bosses now more than ever. It's also very much possible that bad bossing is just one part of the organization's corporate culture. So how do you deal with these bad bosses? Here is a list of do's and don'ts that will help you survive work life with a bad boss.

- Find a mentor - An immediate superior who can help and guide you through difficult situations.

- Watch for opportunities where you can get transferred to a different department within the company.
- Use your network to keep a look at better opportunities outside the company.
- Always keep your resume updated and ready to send out if an opportunity comes up.
- Evaluate your performance at your job and consider ways to improve.
- Keep a journal where you can document all the bad behaviour of your boss.
