Local media reported on Friday that a pipeline explosion near a refinery in the municipality of Tlahuelilpan killed and injured dozens while people were trying to steal fuel.
"The information we received shortly before coming to the press conference is 66 killed and 76 wounded, some of them are in serious and very serious conditions", governor of the Hidalgo state, Omar Fayad, announced on Saturday in a briefing broadcast live on Twitter.
