Recording Artiste Diamond Appiah has taken steps to get into the good books of President John Mahama after mocking him following his failure to get re elected.

In a sarcastic post on Instagram, Appiah apologizes to Mahama on behalf of the youth who mocked him after the election results were announced blaming it on “joblessness”.

She also thanked him for his service to the country and asks him to look at the priceless smiles on the faces of his daughters anytime he feels down.

Out of the 75, 792 votes casted in the Trobu Constituency in Amasaman, Greater Accra Region, Appiah got only 429 votes.

Her campaign was characterized by name-calling of political opponents and anyone who dared disagree with her. Prominent of her list of ‘haters’ were MzBel and AfiaSchwarzenegger. Details of Provisional results below.
