Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz is taking a few steps back following his announcement of quitting his cheating ways and reverting to being monogamous. 

The announcement comes months after a bitter breakup with Zari Hassan, the mother of his two children and also ending his relationship with his baby mama Hamisa Mobetto over allegations of withcraft.

The Tanzanian singer stated that he was quite lucky he didn't land into trouble for cheating and also get STDs from it.

"If I must be honest I played around. I played a lot but was lucky enough to escape without any consequences," he said.

Diamond while speaking to Tanzanian youths on the importance of using protection during sex, recalled escaping death by a whisker.

He however added that all he wants now is to settle down with Tanasha, and be a better man than he was before.
