Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has expressed confidence that his side can still mount a serious challenge for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title, despite a difficult start to the campaign.
The Phobians currently sit 6th on the league table with 18 points after 11 matches, five points adrift of leaders Aduana FC. November yielded just one victory—a 2-1 win over Basake Holy Stars—as Hearts struggled to convert draws into wins.
Dramani’s Belief
Speaking after Sunday’s draw, which marked the sixth game in which Hearts failed to score, Dramani remained upbeat:
“It’s still possible to win the league because we have over thirty matches more to play. We just have to turn our drawing streak to wins. If you want to win the league, you have to win games.”
On the stalemate, he noted the intensity of their opponents:
“I think the game was what we anticipated. And we knew they would be motivated for the game because they were playing against Hearts of Oak. It was a game of few chances and more transitional plays.”
The Road Ahead
- Position: 6th place, 18 points
- Gap to leaders: 5 points behind Aduana FC
- Next fixture: Vision FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in Matchday 12
With over 20 matches still to play, Dramani insists the Phobians can turn their season around if they sharpen their attack and convert stalemates into victories.
