Ivorian and Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has singled out Mohammed Kudus as one of the most impressive performers in the English Premier League this season, alongside Mohamed Salah and Nicolas Jackson.
In an interview with Sporty TV, Drogba praised the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder’s creativity and influence, highlighting his standout numbers and growing reputation.
“I like Kudus,” Drogba said.
“I used to like Nicolas Jackson because I saw a lot of similarities [with myself]. Of course, my brother, of course, Mohammed Salah — King Salah.”
Mohammed Kudus has been in an outstanding form for the North London side as he has so far been directly involved in five (5) goals for Spurs in nine (9) Premier League games, notching one goal and registering four assists.
Kudus, who joined Spurs from West Ham for £55 million, has quickly become a creative engine in Thomas Frank's system, combining flair with work rate.
The Ghanaian international will facing off against Didier Drogba's Chelsea FC in Matchday 10 of the 2025/26 English Premier League campaign as Kudus will look to again prove a point in the high-staked London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Saturday, November 1.
Chelsea, who lost their last Premier League game to newly promoted Sunderland AFC at home, will also look to grab their third London Derby win of the season after victories over West Ham United and neighbours Fulham.
