The Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer of MTN Ghana, Adwoa Wiafe has stated that leading digital solutions for Africa’s progress is their aim in the new digital world.

According to the officer, MTN offers limitless opportunities for creativity, innovation, and career growth in the world.

She added that MTN is focused on creating an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and innovate.

Speaking at the award ceremony for Girls-In-ICT organized by the Ministry of Communication and Digitalisation held in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital, Adwoa Wiafe encouraged girls to explore and embrace technology to help contribute to a more diverse and inclusive technological landscape.

She urged the girls to seek knowledge in their capabilities, and never shy away from challenges.

“The world of technology is boundless, and your voice, ideas, passion, and skills matter in shaping its future,’’ she said.

She affirmed that they aim to bridge the gender gap and create an environment where every girl can envision herself as a leader in the technology world.

“It is very gratifying to see young girls fully engaged in this program. In a world where technology drives innovation, empowerment, and progress, it is important to celebrate and encourage the participation of girls and women in the ICT sector,” she stated.

“So, we are here today to acknowledge the incredible potential we see in you intending to inspire, educate, and empower you, the future generation of women in technology,’’ said Adwoa Wiafe.

Adwoa Wiafe commended the Ministry for Digitalisation and Communications for its dedication to empowering young women in ICT adding that involvement and commitment to the ministry has paved the way for a future where young women are at the forefront of innovation in the ICT industry.
