Division One side Okyeman Planners petition FIFA to reinstate George Afriyie as GFA Vice-President

Ghanaian Division one League side Okyeman Planners have officially written a petition to World Football governing body, FIFA to contesting the dismissal of their bankroller George Afriyie as Ghana FA vice president by his former boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The 50-year-old was removed from office in April this year after an Executive Committee meeting.
Although a reason was not revealed for his dismissal, it’s believed the decision is due to George’s interest in the GFA presidency.
Afriyie had occupied the position by appointment since 2015.
