Comedian DKB sees nothing wrong with Sarkodie’s plan to give exposure to up and coming creative arts persons in the country.

Twitter went ablaze when Sarkodie made the announcement that he needed creative arts persons for his yet-to-be-shot music video but he was not going to give such people a dime for their services. Sark in his advert said featuring them in his works will give them the exposure so they should not let this opportunity bypass them.

The pro bono services did not go down well with some people who think Sarkodie is not treating these persons fair because exposure does not put food on the table. Even though many say Sarkodie should not use the works of these persons for free but give them something for their works, Derrick Kobina Bonney thinks others.

The King of Ghanaian comedy in a series of tweets defended the musician telling the world the number of shows he hosted for free before attaining national recognition. DKB believes that the golden opportunities one will you gain after featuring in Sarkodie’s music video will be worth than the amount the rapper will pay after the services.

Sharing his ‘exposure’ experiences, the boss of Ecstasy Entertainment revealed that he hosted EIB boss Bola Ray’s events for free for three years but he is now reaping the benefits. According to him, EIB has given him Gh30,000 free airtime to promote his upcoming events due to the free services he rendered for the CEO years ago.

He tweeted, “I MCed BolaRay shws in Legon & got no penny for 3yrs(I didnt even ask) Now guess who gave me 30,000gh EIB airtime 4 #PointofView #EXPOSURE.
