Dreams FC assistant coach, Edwin Torto is targeting a winning start to the 2019-20 Ghana Premier League season, which commences on December 27.

The 'Still Believers' will  play host to Alhaji Grusah's King Faisal on matchday one at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu.

The Ghanaian top flight league returns after a year-long break due to the infamous Anas number 12 Expose which rocked Ghana football.

In an interview with Bryt Power Sports, the assistant trainer of Dreams FC said he is pleased with his outfit preparation so far and is optimistic they will pick the three points at stake in the opening day fixture.

"The team is in good shape. So we will go into our first game against King Faisal with a positive attitude. It is a must win game for us" Edwin Torto said.

"We are not going to underrate our opponent on the day, because we understand they have a strong squad" he added.

The Ghana Premier League season starts a cross the country this weekend and with the calendar now extended from 30 weeks to 34, all eighteen teams will be keen to start on a brighter footing.
